Wooli, born Adam Puleo from up state New York, has quickly taken the electronic music scene by storm. Wooli is constantly pushing the boundaries of music by combining his unique melodic sounds to the grimy undertones of dubstep and riddim. He has received immediate support from the legends of dubstep including Excision, KAYZO, Bear Grillz, Snails, as well as many others.
Wooli planted his roots in the drum and bass scene local to New York and now you can see him now performing at major festivals all over the World. Wooli has also supported Bear Grillz and Excision on tours across North America. In 2018 Wooli has been a part of some of the biggest bass festivals in the world including Lost Lands and Bass Canyon.
Wooli is not confined by the genres of Electronic Music. He creates sounds and tracks that speak to him as an artist. His major influences include Snails, Nero, Andy C, Doctor P, and Jimmy Hendrix. These five artists have played a major role in how Wooli has developed his sound and the direction he wishes to take his music. With collaborations with some of the industry’s giants such as Seven Lions, Excision, and Snails, Wooli does not plan to stop the momentum going into 2019.
Wooli and his fan base, “Woo Tusk Clan,” stand for much more than just great music, but a great vibe and good energy that they believe should surround the music. They believe that he cannot be stopped, his fierce mentality and drive to create music will continue to shine through. This past year is only a testament of what is to come in the future.
